Hello friends,
This is regarding who will between Sachin Tendulkar & Ricky Ponting emerge as a player with highest no. of Test centuries Now Sachin holds that record with 35 and Ponting have made 32 and he is really cruising fast.Now they have Ashes in november. India will play Test Cricket in December I think.So what are your views on this. Come and discuss..

interesting, never knew it was that close
well i think they both have a few good years left in them so you never know. sachin of late has not been quite the same player we first saw, but still is capable of scoring the big runs
i obviously want sachin to have and keep the record |

| I think both players are best in the world.Both has good record as batsman and as human.But i think sachin is more better player than ricky ponting.Despite the current form of sachin,he is master player and bardman told him that.Sachin has still power for making more runes and records too.Still lots of tons comming from sachin. |

| Yeah sachin is the best. He is far better than ricky ponting in his techinique and style. I wish that he makes a dramatic start of his international come back. |

Sure, I am a fan of Sachin and Sachin only.
But considering the current form of Ponting and upcoming Ashes series, he has the chance to beat Sachin's record.
Moreover, the Indian media is not allowing Tendulkar to come back with a bang. If you read between their lines, they want Sachin to retire.
They keep asking, "Will Sachin be his old self ever again?"
I do not like the way the media plays. |

i am not sure if they want him to retire, maybe they are trying to pysche him so that he will play like sachin of old. i personally think he role has changed over the years, and also sachin himself knows he is nto quite the same player as before.
previously he had to be the anchor man, the main backbone of the team. with some newer players, even if sachin fails, then we can hoep someone else can do the job. |

Sachin is too good a player that needs psychological motivation.
He is highly matured with years of experience. He knows what he can do and will deliver that without any provocation. |

| I am an ardent fan of sachin and i want him to maintain his record and i am now very excited as i dint know they were so close to each other. Well i want sachin to be better and if i am to say il be partial to sachin. |

Well i am Indian so i always like Indian players.Sachin is best for me in compare with ponting.He made big records which could not broken in next 10 years.He played when india needed.
Ponting also good playes and he can able to broke century's record in Tests. |
