Now that the Ganguly- Chappel saga is over here comes Chappel - Tendulkar. I was just browsing channels and saw ZEE NEWS (9 PM news ) debating about Greg Chappel calling Tendulkar not fit and may not play 2007 WORLD CUP. The mediapersons were debating how this would creat tensions and hit morale of team. They talked about how Chappel always creates controversy.
As they were talkin it struck me that its the Indian Media which like creating controversy and Cricket is their favourite. It was the media which blowed the Chappel email. This ended in a sour battle between Ganguly and Chappel and finally in the death of Ganguly's career. They love controversy.... they thrive on it . |

well, i think it is far too early for anyone to comment on his fitness for the world cup
if he is fit to play internationals, then why is he not fit to play the world cup?
i think the next couple of series will be important. obviously being fit and being in form are 2 separate things, so lets see how he performs, and hopefully he will be in with a shout |

I dont think sachin will be unfit, he is a great asset to the indian team and must be included in the cricket team for the world cup. I am sure he will be fit and will bring the cup home  |

ganguly has made it into the 30 member squad for the forthcoming series. so it may not be the end, but i think dada will have to play out of his skin to make it to the final 14 |

I think sachin is fit,Chappel still making bad news for us.He just spoken once agin that sachin is not fit.You can watch the whole talk on STARNEWS channel.
We show in past that if sachin not fit than he ruled out the match and series. |

| I think its way too early to decide about fitness of the players to play for world cup and thus rather than dwelling in controversy the players and specially the coach should think about betterment of the team. |

I dont think so,once agin chappal told that sachin is not full fit he has problem during throw from deep.He told in press on Espn's news show sportcentre.
I think sachin is full fit and he willl be back once agin. |

| Good news from srilanka for sachin tendulakar's lover he is back in international cricket yesterday playing his first class ODI aginst srilanka-A.He made only 19 runes but he made some nice shorts. |
