Do you think sehwag is fit well in middle order than top order.He started his carrier as middle order batsman and he made some good runs whenevr he came in middle order.I know he can give use fast and better start but he could not able to make run constanly in top order.
I agree with you blue that Indian management should think about sehwag's middle order chance.Whenever he passed bad time he demoted to middle order and that he made couples of fiftys there.
I think dhoni is perfact for opning batsman.

Dhoni is perfect replacement of Vierndra Sehwag in top order.He can bat good and his strike rate in 110.0 per 100 balls.He can give use fast start with sachin tendulkar.Also he can take full advantage of power play.
One needs to remember that the main job of Dhoni is that of a wicket-keeper. Any amount of runs that he scores is purely a bonus. It would be unfair to put him at the top of the batting order and score. If india is batting second, then he would have to keep wickets for the entire innings and then rush out to open the innings too! That is asking for too much from from a person.
True, Sehwag and Dhoni have similar batting styles. But i would vote for Sehwag as an opener, simply because he is a specialist batsman! Sending sehwag in the middle order would mean that he would have to curb his hitting, which his against his natural game. And sending him at no 6. or no.7 would mean that we are giving him very less time to get set and start scoring.

hmm, interesting point
however i feel that dhoni should be expected to score runs. i do not think he is amazing with the gloves, but probably the best we have at the moment. what makes him stand out from the rest is probably his batting
we have to go by form, rather than the position best suited for sehwag. no person should get position based on their preferred position. if dhoni is playing well at the top of the innings, he should open
