Since Mr. Chappel has come we can see that the experiments are never ending. Every day we see new things happening, sometime I feel like watching a ring-master in action. When will this stop, so that our boys can concentrate on their game.

Yes, he made our team as circus company. Players dont know his batting order and same thing with bowlers too. He continue his experiment even he dont get any results.

The worst suffer in his hand is Pathan. Next in the line is Viru, Harbhajan. Even a player like Dravid has not been spared. I can't understand why he is opening in the one-dayers?

We used to have a team like Saurav, Sachin and Sehwag. We can recall that Sachin and Saurav had the best opening partnerships India had in long long times. If Sourav is back that possibility will be there, if he is not there then it should be Sachin and Virendra Sehwag. For any reason if Sachin is not there then Kaif/Raina can be tried but that is for a temporary arrangement. We cannot loose our most trusted batsaman in the opening.

i think it's time for saurav to be brought back. the guy is good undoubtly. probably the long break from the team has provided him with some reality check....
i'm not saying he's a saint or anything but for heaven's sake just bring the guy back and get the game going on a more worthy manner.
ideal openers would be saurav and sachin! |

India vs India vs India – Best idea out, or a waste of time?
I think it’s a fantastic idea! Get the best cricketers in a country to have a series to brush up on their skills before a Champion’s Trophy Competition while giving the Barhat Army something to warm them up for the ICCC Trophy – at home!
Players competing against their countrymen and in some cases, their mentors is a sure fire way to keep the ‘oldies’ on their toes and the ‘young-guns’ chomping at the bit for their chance to take on the Country’s greatest.
Has this been done in other countries previously, and if so, why isn’t it still being done? I mean, if in Australia they had been doing this every season for the past 5 years, surely the likes of Hussey would’ve been noticed and picked up years earlier!
I think that every country (depending on the amount of suitable players that are available) should hold a similar competition prior to any major series, the best performing players going on to represent their country – this would increase the player base for selection and reduce the chance of outside influence towards the selectors and ensure that the best national team would be representing their nation as their actions would speak louder than their words.
I was chatting to someone on the Testskill chat facility ( I had a small punt on India blue whilst I was there) about this, they reckon that it had to be done in India because of the selection bias, is it that bad in India? |

This will continue may be till 2007 world cup. We have to bear this man and his experiments. Only God knows what will happen. Too much of anything is bad. Someone with better sense should control now.

I tell you from this champions trophy you will not see any more experiments. The message must have reached the right person. We have seen the result of the experiments and it was not good.

I think due to this experiments India is loosing thier confidance and they forget to win the matches. Once time india won 15 matches in row but now condition is totally different. New selector warn to Indian team for too much experiments. So we hope experiments will be stoped soon.

I also think there will be not much of experiments. We can now expect Sehwag to open with Sachin followed by normal batting line-up. At one time I was just waiting for the day when I might see Kumble or Harbhajan to open the batting. These type of experiments have done nothing good.
