Well I am surprised that Aus is batting again. They had a lead of about 450 runs could have easily wrap this up in a day if they give Eng the follow on but instead they decide to bat again.
Why?
Only thing I can think is Ponting is selfish and wants to make sure he remains the no 1 batsman and not let Yosuf pass him. So he is trying to get as many at bat as possible.
Why do you think that way? They have been doing that ever since India beat them in Kolkatta. Of all the things last thing Ponting has to do worry about is his personal ranking. He is already a legend.
