There is a discussion in the US (I recently moved to NYC) about whether cricket is a legitimate sport and should be played int he US. These people seem to think it isn't a real sport. Please help me convince them:

China too is in the process of coaching cricketer and it is not long when Cricket would be the most popular sport in the world.

Baseball, one of the most popular games in US in cricket evolved from cricket.

Cricket does not have to prove its legitimacy .... it is a religion for many
