Match: South Africa v Sri Lanka

I think this is very important match for Group-B because after this match we have first semi-finalist and first real elimanated team. Winner of the match will go in semi finals.
Yes this is big and important match for both teams because of anyone who lost the match will be out of ICC champions trpohy. I think Srilanka have good team and they will win the match.

Well it was a really great match. SAF started really very poorly being 30/3 and they were in a depp big hole . It was really felt at that time that Lankans wud run thru them and bowl out SAF well uinder 200 but Kallis and De Villiers plsyed really well put up a great partnership and got SAF out of the hole and it was looking like that SAF can go upto a decent total of something arnd 240-250. Once, Kallis got out SAF again began to lose the plot and they kept on losing wickets on regular intervals and were 176/7 at one time after 45 overs. Then Pieterson and Pollock played a great knock to get the SAF to a reasonable total of 219 and Lankans needed just 220 to win. At that time Lankans were fav. to win the match. They just needed a good start from Tharanga and Sanath and they surely wud have been on their way but the openers started really very tentively. Tharanga got a lifeline from Kallis also when he wa on 4 but neither Pollock nor SAF lost any heart and kept on pressing. They soon got out Sanath and from their on it was the South African show. Lankans never really looked in the match and they kept on losing wickets at important times. SAF really bowled and fielded very well. Pollock was the pick of the bowlers really with 2/21 in his 10. He really set it up for the African side. SL were all out on a mere 141 and they will now go back to home. They have got no chance of qualifying now. They become the first side to be knocked out. Pollock rightly got the MOM . It was a great match to watch. Some great bowling and fielding performances. Some good resistance from the batsman. In all a good cricket match .
