Looking at the who's who of ICC management, All of them are either Middle aged 50 something white folks who at best have average credentials or people living in Australia or London. All of ICC's sponsor comes from India(LG, pepsi India, Visa etc) but the media manager is from London. India has absolutely no represenatations in the Management committee and eventhough every single penny comes from Indian public. I just can't imagine a more racist organization in today's world.How do you expect a Media Manager from London to solve conflicts between the sponsors and with players(mostly from India)? All the 50 something white folks are living in the Desert paradise of Dubai out of dole provided by Indian public. The only problem with the Dole is, it is more than enough to live a life of Millionaire and people who are paying for the dole are living a day to day existence.
To sum it up here is the currnet list of sponsors for ICC
LG(Mainly India operations), Hutch, Hero Honda and Pepsi(Again mostly Indian operations)
Common BCCI and Indian government please wake up and do something? As an Indian I am raging with anger and how everyone in Australia and England is profiting from Indian public generosity. To me ICC looks more like the Imperial Enterprise called East India Company run by the same white folks in 1600's and 1700's rather than a Modern sports organisation.
It's impossible to find an Indian cricket official that isn't corrupt, so i don't see any reason to have one of them making any decisions that affect the rest of the cricketing world. The reason those people are running the ICC is because they have a proven track record of success running cricket in their own countries and have worldwide respect. The ECB and the ACB are the best run boards in the world of cricket, therefore it is no surprise that the people involved in that success are now running world cricket. Get over it small fry.
