Brother, replacements cannot be found like that. We will not get an Inzamam right away. Yousuf has to be the new Inzamam, and he is laready showing signs of that. Over last 2 years, he has been more consistent and has played match winning knocks. Younis obviously is the other senior pro, who i guess becomes the new Yousuf, sort to speak...
So now we really need someone in the middle who can hold the fort but that someone needs to be someone we get to after a lot of deliberation because even if he fails he shd be given a consistent chance for a few series. I know i might sound like playing w/ words, but we cant find Inzamam-calibre player right away. It could also be hard to really look at one player n say yes he is for thr future. We might need to try 2-3 options.
It might be so that we hv to select diff players for tests n odi's if one player fails to own that spot in both formats of teh game. Its not going to be easy but if handled properly it could be done, the country has a lot of talent for that .
It is very difficult to replace Inzaman-ul-Haq. He is a great batsman and was showing the signs of being a great captain as well. I think Yousuf must take the responsibility and steet the ship.
