So, if this is true, it would make it difficult to get the ban reduced as WADA is going to put pressure on ICC and ICC would want to show how serious they are about their anti-doping policy.
PCB are no signatories of WADA therefore WADA cannot interfere in PCB matters. This test was an internal PCB test therefore the ICC cannot do anything about it. In short, WADA can complain and try to convince but that is all they can do.
I read that Asif has hired himself a lawyer this time. Good move. God only knows why the idiot didn't hire one in the first place. Things are certainly looking good on his front and he is certainly innocent of deliberately taking a performance enhancing drug.
