All along we have been comparing lara and tendulkar as to who is the worlds best. It is true tendulya matched lara feat to feat in the years goen by. If lara batted with walsh for the last wicket for a miraculous win over the aussies tendulkar almost did it against the Pakistanis with mongia, if lara went mad on the english/southafrican bowling tendulkar stunned sharjah with his assault over the aussies. If lara stood out on his maiden trip to aus so id tendulkar. Whenever these guys played something breathtaking was always to be expected .
Yeah, you got it on the head, man. What makes Lara feats beautiful is that all of them are counter attacks carried out by individual player (Lara)for the team . The test match was staring at a possibility of dull draw and then Lara caught it by the scruff of the neck and has set it up nicely for a dramatic finish. Yeah, Lara has always been a king. We are quite fortunate we are witness to this.
The batting of Lara is a treat to watch. It reminds me the old days when we were witness to the great batting display of Viv Richards. The audacity with which they play and treat bowlders as novices, let us enjoy every moment of the game.
It seems that when Brian Lara enjoys his cricket he presents us something spectacular. He is the best batsman. On his day he can blew up any attack. It is important that he gets support from other end.
I don't think Lara is Better than Sachin. We all have obviously forgotton Sachin of the 1990s and Early 21st Century. THE ONLY Indian Batsman to face the deadly bowling. Even Today, after having so many injuries, Sachin is playing and Making runs. He is the Best ever Batsman. No doubts
