I am no fan of Azharuddin and i strongly believe he is guilty of match fixing. More than the Match Fixing allegation(it's not a allegation anymore) i hate him for having said that he is targeted because he is from the minority community. But this doesn't justify the double standards imposed by the neo-imperialist enterprise called ICC. ICC is up in arms against BCCI for trying to forgive Azhar and honor him. BCCI is also planning to remove the ban on azhar. I have no problem with ICC if the same yardstick is applied to everyone. While Shane Warne and Gibbs are getting away with a slap on the wrist but ICC wants Azhar to be punished further even after a decade of forced exile from cricket.

Also Mike coward the ex ICC chief has accused BCCI of brash and bolshy beggar's belief. Mike should get his mental health checked first(before he goes bonkers) because ICC is actually the beggar here living on the alms doled out by Indian cricket and its sponsors. Also he wants India to decide whether india should be part of International cricket or not. He also Implies that cricket would be better of with administrators from Australia. When you think Mike can't get more combative(read racist) than this he tops himself saying Australia should start Counselling BCCI.Unfortunately Mike doesn't understand that "Beggars cannot be Choosers". He just needs to take a look at how other sports organization are run throughout the world. It wouldn't take any great effort from BCCI to usurp ICC and make it irrelevant and monopolize international cricket like NBA in Basketball.

It looks like you're the racist one. It's very typical of the BCCI to think they know best. The reason the BCCI don't have influence in the ICC is because many people controlling cricket in India are corrupt. And if you won't admit that then there's something wrong with you. Let me tell you how this works, the people in the BCCI also have many friends in government, these people also have many friends who are editors/journalists of newspapers. Now we all know how you've come to the conclusion that Indian's deserve special treatment.

Look at the organisational skills of the BCCI, when England toured this year we didn't know what grounds the test matches were being played at until 4 weeks before. On the other hand, all of the dates and venues have been decided for the 2009 ashes already. Unfortunately Indian cricket is not run properly because of a constant power struggle in the BCCI, which is why the rest of the cricketing world don't take you seriously.
