| Sourav Ganguly scored 83 and Pathan still playing at 80 saved India in the first day of the four day match in Potchefstroom. Not to mention Sehwag and Jaffer both scored zero and Tendulkar 10. |

| This is a good sign. The fightback should start from somewhere. As per the latest score India has taken a good lead over the South African side. In the second innings Jaffer, Sehwar, Sachin, Ganguly have failed but Laxman and Dhoni is trying to steady the ship. |

| good to see saurav score some runs - but he got hit by a bouncer - something he is still prone too. good to see him recover from it, and lets hope his form continues! |

| Yes, as per the news reports we see that the coach is also happy in the effort and the team has slowly started to look again like a unit. If India can now manange a good start in the first test then we can hope better days. |

He scored zero in the next innings. So much for the return.
PS: The match was played against rest of SA. Let's wait for the real thing. |

he showed it today again that he still has the determination in him
he was the only batsman to score freely when every good batsman were back in the pavillion and taking rest
i think now its turn for few big guns to be dropped for the team
like dravid and shewag and even sachin is not doing 2 good recently _________________ Regards

Good for Ganguly after being unfairly forced out of the side. Nice to see he hasn't lost any of his fighting spirit with a gutsy performance |
