They defeated the New Zealand team easily yesterday. A dedicated performance by the Sri Lankan team members. I am pleased to see their performance. I think now Sri Lanka should be considered as a force to win this Cup.
yeh but the thing tht worries me about lanka is the fact tht they hav no power hitters near the bottom of the order to get them past 300. Like India have Dhoni, Pakistan Afridi, West indies Samuels, Australia Symonds, e.t.c
But they have good hitters at the top and all of them are firing well. So that is not hurting their prospects. Coming match against Australia will be a great game for them.
It is surprising to find Sri Lanka not including Murlidharan against Australia. Only Murlidharan can stop the Aussie onslaught. I will be waiting to see him play in the finals if again both the teams meet.
