This seems to be the mantra of BCCI now. Does that mean no Sachin, no Sehwag, no Saurav? Yuvraj, Dhoni are young (perhaps). So time for Rainas to show results.

That will also not work. I don't understand why the cricket board can't understand the actual problem. It is not age it is a combination of different factors. Pitch, commercials are the main problems.

Yes, we are also hearing that. Very Happy It's upto the selectors to decide but they have been advised to pick a young team. Most likely Tendulkar, Ganguly will not be there.

Suppose we send a young team without Sachn and others and the team does good against Bangladesh and Ireland, which is expected. Then they play South Africa and gets thrashed which is also expected. Then if we continue to play the same set of players so that they gain experience, by the time they gain experience they will be old enough to be called "seniors". Should we then again be demanding to remove them and bring youngstars? And everthing goes back to square one.

Just imagine we removed many seniors and got a set of players who are presently seniors who have to experience of playing against the big sides on their soil. So you can't just ask for youngstars. It will not work. You need to pick out and throw the non-performers and take performers. Like what happened to Ganguly. It should be applied to everyone.

The team has been announced and we can only hope these young players will perform to the best of their abilities. Now the question is what do we gain from this tour?
