Barely has the time to let the victory against the South Africans sink in counted down that the Indian team will make its way to Glasgow for a one off one day international against their rather beloved (sarcastic) neighbours and rivals, Pakistan.
The teams meet each other in similar circumstances. Both are without a coach and by the latest reports, Dav Whatmore seems a common point of contention. Whatmore has been favourite in the race in the Indian side of the border as well as Pakistan's. But unfortunately neither country boasts of a politiking free cricket policy that ensures that his job or the appointment of the coach will be based solely on merit.
