Lets face it that India is the most under achieving team ever in cricket history. The Indian cricket team never plays well on away conditions and half of the time loses on them. I remember them winning in Zimbabwe in 2001 and it was 10 years later winning aboad. The Indian team wins only at home on dead flat pitches of India, where they utilise their spin options and their batsmen benifits from low bounce. What makes me angry is Indian cricket board doesn't make changes to their pitches and overall has bad attidue towards cricket growth in India. Alot of money goes into Indian cricket and I still wonder why are the infrastructure still poor, is this bad management or corruption.
Enough about management just look at Indian players they are just a show piece. Are they models or are they players? When Indian player played in the world cup their fitness level was very poor ( even Bangladeshis had better fitness and it was by a lot). None of the players showed intent on the field. Even worse they was no self of national pride, to me they seemed like individuals who cared their postions in the team. To make matters worse their mental state was the worst of all teams, they had no self belief. I think the commercial world spoiled the players sponsorhip money and advertisement. I mean come on players like they Dhoni and Yurav thought selves as playboys after they put on TV adds and advetisement boards, it did give them the sense that they were models.
To me the World Cup performance by India was'nt a suprise and they faced alot worst humilations than this before. Please let me refresh your memories.
everyone has a bad tournament at some stage last time it was Southfrica who got elimanated in the first round along with england, pakistan, westindies also. This time it was India and Pakistan who got knocked out in the first round, world cups are always full of upsets and suprises. Also India's away record has actually improved considerably as they had beaten the West indies in west indies, drew with australia, england, bet pakistan, bangladesh, zimbabwe, sri lanka and new zealand a few yrs ago. So i dont think that there away record is as bad as it is made out. There fitness isnt outstanding but its not poor they have yuvraj kaif e.t.c who r great feilders. Overall they are a good side and not only india should be pin pointed in this matter there are other sub continental teams like Pakistan and Sri lanka who struggle to win away also
ok judging by your post your African supporting along the line, Only one question, how many times any african team won the world cup and known as WORLD CHAMPIONS, answer zero. Cant say that about India! Oh but your based in Australia!!!
