The Australians respectedand cheered Sachin Tendulkar, gave him a standing ovation, and treated him with respect.
The dirty Indians treated Symonds with nothing but disrespect.
Pretty much sums it up.
Indians = Sore losers, immature.
Its probably a bit hash CE. In the past the Indian crowds have cheered our players. I am sure if gilchrist played his last game in India, he would get a great ovation.

hahaha funny you say that....all of a sudden OZs are suddenly aware of racism and other bigotry but they have been doing this for years and it went unchallenged.
a: Monkey is NOT racist in Indian culture.
b: It's funny seeing the ozs supporting symonds so much when they are mostly racists towards darker skin color anyway.
c: Symonds was being a macho when he tried to stir up sh*t with Bhajji who patted Lee's back. So Bhajji replied. Indians are no longer Gandhian types.
if indians are sore losers then OZs are cheaters: ie-- underarm incident, sydney test

Addressing your points:
a. Okay, i take that onboard. But IMO it would be a good idea for australians and indians to get together and establish which words are offensive to both sides, so this sort of thing doesn't happen again.
b Maybe 10-20 years ago that was true, but racist abuse rarely happens towards aboriginal sportsmen these days. You never hear it at the football these days, which is a really great thing. Community standards have changed.
c Underam incident over 20 years ago. Gilchrist walked yesterday when he was given not out in the one dayer. Australia plays hard(we sledge too much IMO) but i don't think we are cheats. I don't think India is either.
You're such a charm, I think I'm falling in love with you I do hope you are not really one of those beer-sozzled boorish alpha-males but a good old friendly Aussie Shiela? Just kidding, ok...

Ganguly that underarm incident was 20 years ago mate ,and at the time was not illegal ,so that kind of squashes that idea ,as much as I didn't agree with it myself.........what's done is done eh?
Nice to see some intelligent discussion after all this acrimony for the last month or so. By now you guys must have realized that not all Indians are against all the Aussies. We do have differences in opinions because of our loyalty to our respective teams, but that doesn't mean we start calling each other names or take out our frustration on an online forum.
Let's all enjoy the game of cricket and appreciate good performance wherever it comes from...

Let's all play by the rules and use gloves that dont extend to 3rd man, jokes. I cant believe the indian fans called the aussies cheats during the syd test match even though the oz players werent umpiring DOH, but somehow they get branded cheats for it by indians, when it comes to donis gloves no comment from the rubbish indian fans

Come on now, let's not mix up issues here. No one blamed Aussie players for umpiring mistakes. They were blamed for over-appealing, claiming dropped catches and not walking when clearly out (generally not playing by the spirit of the game). About Dhoni's gloves, he should be punished by the proper authorities if found guilty, period.
