Which is best batsman / wicket keeper among this two?
I think Adam Gilcrist more better wicket keeper batsman than dhoni. He is good in keeping and also batting. He made runs everywhere in world.Otherside Dhoni made runes mostly in Indian pitches. |

| I dont agree with this totally adam is an amazing player and no doubts about it but dhoni is new and lacks experience like adam and i am sure he will proove to be a great player one day. He has made runs and is still becoming better and better. |

| Adam gilchrist is a role model for the wicket keepers. Besides being a great keeper he is one of the best known batsmen in the world. His power and consistancy prove all the critics wrong. I guess dhoni will take some time to come up to that level. |

well gilchrist has been in the game for a long time now
and his reputation is part of his armoury. dhoni has quickly got a reputation, and rightly so - but he still has a long way to go before achieving the same that gilchrist has |

Gilchrist too got the reputation quickly cauze of his skill and dhoni too is on the same track. I guess a few years from now dhoni will be on the same position as gilchrist as he will have more experience. |

| Dhoni has a long way to go before being compared to Gilchrist... He is good no doubt, but Gilchrist is a storm!! Whenever he is playing against India, I just pray that he doesnt get going... once he does, it is just awesome to watch!! The power of his shots, the rate at which he scores - just awesome... |

that's really true but dhoni can be too ambitious with his shots which can make him look stupid sometimes.....
i guess it all comes down to experience....and you don't get it overnight.... |

| I don't think we should start comparing Dhoni with Gilchrist. While every country dreams that they should have someone like Gilchrist but as of now Gilchrist is one and only. Whatever Dhoni has done till date is done on Indian pitches, he failed in the West Indies, he failed in Malaysia. So let him prove his worth, then the comparsion can be done. |
