I want to know whether here in India in the Champions Trophy the matches will be played in one ball or two ball. I am not aware of the present rules. Are two-ball matches allowed? In India during this time of the year there will be dew factor, so two balls are necessary.

All matches are day-night so i am sure dew factor is always distrub in second Innigs. As far rule there is only one bowl allowed during each innigs but if ball is not in good shape than umpire can change the bowl.

Dew affects the bowlers a lot mate. It makes the ball wet and then its slippery and the fast bowlers finds hell with it and the spinners wouldn't be able to rip it. I really aint to sure about the effect it have on the pitch though. So and as i know there is no ball change for dew. How sad?

It would have been better had the match being played with two balls. Because in India if single ball is used then there will be less runs in a match. But a rule is a rule.

As per present rules, the ball will only be changed if it looses the shape. For dew factors it will be rubbed by a towel by the umpires. I feel there should be two balls used. Because in the evening the ball will absorve dews and may become heavy.
