Australia has demanded answers of cricket's governing body over the dumping of umpire Darrell Hair and has warned the saga threatens to jeopardise the sport's credibility on the world stage.
Well there has to be a limit of all this. I mean consider ICC a multinational company, who has hired people for its work. One of them screws up and is fired. Now how does it seem if the country to which the person belongs asks for explanations ?
These umpires are hired by ICC and can be fired when they want to. Too difficult for stupid aussies to understand this basic thing. Why do they have to take everything as Aussies vs Rest-of-the-world ??
I think the last few years of success have gone into their head. ICC can appoint anyone and can fire anyone. Who are the Aussies to ask for an explanations? I hope now Mr. Speed will not say that if any team is performing they can say anything.
