Hes rated as a thunderous hitter in the kluesener mode and boy can he hit a Cricket ball. He made 100 runs yesterdayt with 7 sixes and the last one was a huge straight drive into the crowd.
I for one am extremely pleased that Kemp has got his maiden ODI century. He can be a brutal butcher with the bat and today he showed just that. What an great innings, hope he can keep this up. Shame that Dhoni could not match or better his effort, but still a good innings from him nontheless.
Kemp's century reminds me of an Afridi century from 2002 against New Zealand, which also began in very sedate fashion and then all of a sudden Afridi exploded, putting the New Zealand bowlers, particularly Styris to the sword.
